What we are building
A system of record for the shelf
A laboratory runs on physical things that expire, get used up, cost money and have to be accounted for. The software that tracks them is usually the last thing anyone buys, and the first thing that fails an audit.
Labnize covers the whole path: the chemical in the catalogue, the batch on the shelf, the test that consumes it, the alert when cover runs short, the purchase that follows, and the report that explains where the budget went.
One record, written once, read by everyone who needs it. That is the entire product thesis.

The bench comes first
Every feature has to survive a gloved hand, a cold room and a phone camera. If it only works at a desk, it does not work.
Built with laboratories
Every part of the product started as a problem somebody described to us from a store room, and it goes back to them before it ships.
The lab keeps its own vocabulary
The product says chemicals, analyzes and proforma offers, because that is what the people using it say. We did not invent a house dialect.
Data stays where it belongs
European hosting, each organisation kept to itself, access that fits the role, and a movement history behind every number.
